So…I went to Penneys today and picked up a few things! Then I came home and thought I’d do a mini haul! Primark/Penneys hauls are one of my favourite things to read/watch online, because it’s pretty much the only way to see what’s in store at the moment! (I know they did their UK website launch but it doesn’t show everything!)
Anyway, before I went, the only thing I knew that I wanted to pick up, was something in a coral colour – I don’t own anything in this colour at all and I thought it’d be a nice change!
Here’s what I came home with…
Aztec Print Vest Top €4
I loved this the second I laid eyes on it, I actually loved it so much that even though they didn’t have my size – I bought it anyway! I like my tops to fit loose, so it worked out well! I think the coral in it is so pretty. My photo doesn’t show the true colour so I included one that I took in the store!
Lace Bandeau ‘Worn to be Seen’ Bras €3.50 (black) / €2 (blue)
Since discovering the comfort of maternity bras, I’ve come to hate underwire – haha! I thought these were a cute alternative to what I’ve been wearing lately. There’s a thick lace band on the bottom, and the shimmery detail on the blue is really pretty! And come on, €2 for a bra?? How could I not!
Coral Vest Top €2.50
I was actually hoping to get the long version of this (the ones I always get), but my size was all gone! I think this will be good for layering though, and again it’s CORAL! So it’ll be a nice ‘summery’ pop of colour!
Denim Co. Jeggings €9
I got these in a stone colour. I pretty much only wear leggings or jeggings! Another thing that pregnancy taught me – how uncomfortable real clothes are! I actually came across these by accident – I hadn’t seen any jeans or jeggings that I liked, but then I found these in the wrong place! I think the detailing is really impressive looking, and I liked the gold buttoning. I mean, they look like pants … but secretly they’re leggings – you’ve gotta love jeggings!! 😉
Black F/Length Leggings €4
I had Primark leggings before, and they were terrible! They had a scrunched elasticated waistband, they didn’t stay at my ankles and were just a really, really bad fit! But these look entirely different. The waistband is teeny and smooth and they actually fit so much better! If I’m happy with these I’ll probably go pick up more (yes, I wear leggings as pants – but at least I keep my bum covered!!)
Total Cost: €25!
I did see a few other things but they didn’t have my size…and I didn’t even go into the accessories section, so I may take another trip back!
